Abstract

The possibility of achieving protected communication has long been a privilege just for professional services and systems that can afford great investment for the development of specialized devices for this purpose. Today, the popularization of open-source development model enabled significantly reduction of development costs and maintaining high levels of security. This development implies the inclusion of existing components that enables verifying implemented principles if it is necessary. This paper discusses key issues related to the development of mobile devices for secure communication based on the Android platform. © 2017 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
