Abstract

Recently, in [12], authors proved some fixed point results for a new type of contraction, which is called a JS-quasi contraction. The purpose of this critical remark is to show that this kind of contractive mappings is in the fact the same with the well known contractive mappings of Banach, Kannan, Chatterjea and Ćirić type mappings. © 2018 Allahabad Mathematical Society.
