Abstract

Theoretical background and development methodology of AUTOSAR software components is distributed over several different standards. For a reader that is unfamiliar with AUTOSAR concepts it is a tedious task to derive concrete and structured knowledge about software component development. This paper systematically goes through theoretical background and the main functional concepts of software component development, from modeling to source code generation. © 2019 IEEE.
