Abstract

In our days, there is a demand of engineers having knowledge for Medical Instruments and Devices, Information Systems for Health and Medical Imaging. The existence or not of such interdisciplinary university courses is one of our goals. Our second goal is to define better, with detail, what kind of knowledge and skills is and what is not included in the first goal. For better understanding of what skills and what knowledge will have a professional after his/hers graduation of such studies, we provide case studies of systems implemented by such professionals. We also draw some conclusions about the level of maturity in Europe and West Balkans. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
