Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) now depend on increasingly advanced sensors that include high-resolution cameras or lidars, therefore it is necessary to support the exchange of big data in real-Time. At the same time, In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems are also more advanced and expect a large amount of data to display. Therefore, IVI systems need the streaming of big data in real-Time too. Because of these needs, both systems require a solution to the same problem. In addition, these two systems also exchange big data among themselves, so there is a need for a common solution. ADAS and IVI systems can be on different platforms, have different operating systems, and have different architectures, therefore solution need to be independent of that. This paper presents an example of middleware which enables big data exchange in real-Time and its performance. The middleware is independent of architecture, operating system, and third-party software. © 2024 IEEE.
